Key Responsibilities

We invite you to leverage and enhance your engineering background in this role:
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team on projects aimed at enhancing instrumentation and controls within nuclear power plants. These initiatives involve a cohesive integration of electrical and mechanical engineering principles alongside control theory.
  • Engage with electronic process sensors, digital controllers, touchscreen interfaces, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, steam turbines, and reactors to optimize the operational efficiency of nuclear facilities.
  • Develop specifications for the acquisition of instrumentation and controls equipment, as well as perform engineering calculations related to plant upgrades and modifications.
  • Enhance your expertise through mentoring, structured technical sessions, and practical training opportunities.
  • Participate in travel to client and vendor locations for design evaluations and to plant sites for project coordination and verification of designs.
Your work will involve both on-site engagement and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

Note: We do not provide sponsorship for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, complemented by a strong academic foundation and coursework in analog and digital control systems is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in design engineering for process control systems, or a Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with relevant coursework.
  • Coursework in mechatronics is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
