Position Summary:
As a Senior Marketing Coordinator, you will serve as a vital link between technical teams, leveraging your expertise in persuasive communication and strategic pursuit planning for various market sectors. Our team excels in managing projects from conception to selection, ensuring a seamless pursuit process. In this role, you will spearhead marketing strategies and execute routine assignments while adhering to established protocols, utilizing your knowledge of organizational processes to navigate non-standard scenarios. Responsibilities may encompass proposal development, interview strategies, client engagement events, award submissions, client intelligence gathering, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet the marketing objectives of the team, positioning the firm for success in securing and finalizing projects.
  • Set, communicate, and adhere to deadlines; facilitate project-specific marketing strategy discussions; provide solutions for daily marketing challenges.
  • Utilize your expertise to resolve complex issues and mentor junior staff members.
  • Design and produce content for various marketing initiatives.
  • Apply industry best practices to enhance project effectiveness, employing market research techniques to identify trends and demands, and create event concepts and promotions.
  • Oversee the preparation of marketing materials such as Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals, and presentation documents, ensuring compliance with firm standards.
  • Conduct internal quality assurance reviews to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all marketing materials and documentation.
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze client intelligence data.
  • Assist in identifying target markets and potential clients, strategizing to cultivate relationships.
  • Prepare and submit entries for industry awards.

Your qualifications include:

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • A minimum of six years of experience in a marketing capacity, particularly in competitive environments.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, Journalism, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach, while also being a team player.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills with the capacity to juggle multiple high-priority tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated expertise in both technical and conversational writing, including reviewing and proofreading for content and style.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both local and remote teams.
  • Experience in implementing marketing strategies to secure projects.
  • Capability to work with multidisciplinary teams across various offices to execute targeted marketing strategies.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating the development of content for proposals and marketing collateral.
  • Proven ability to gather and maintain project-related data.
  • Competency in data management software.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
