Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a Senior Marketing Coordinator, you will act as an extension of our technical teams, serving as an expert in persuasive writing and pursuit strategy for market and geographic service areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement plans and procedures to achieve our marketing objectives, positioning the firm to excel in winning and closing work.
  • Establish, communicate, and meet deadlines; lead project-specific marketing strategy meetings; provide solutions to our day-to-day marketing needs.
  • Resolve complex matters through knowledge and experience, and mentor less experienced staff.
  • Conceptualize and create information for various marketing activities.
  • Apply best practices to enhance the effectiveness of projects, using market research methods to track trends and demands, and develop event concepts, promotions, and supervise activities.
  • Plan and execute the development of information and materials for marketing activities such as SOQs, proposals, and interview presentations, adhering to our firm's standards.
  • Perform internal QA/QC reviews to ensure a high level of quality and accuracy in all marketing information, analysis, and documentation.
  • Gather, maintain, and analyze client intelligence information.
  • Assist in identifying target markets and potential clients and strategize to build relationships with those clients.
  • Prepare and submit industry awards.

Requirements

  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • A minimum of six years of experience in a marketing role, securing work through competitive processes.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
  • Advanced abilities in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Self-motivation and initiative, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical and conversational-style writing, as well as reviewing and proofreading materials for content, grammar, and style.
  • The ability to contribute and work well on both local and remote teams.
  • The ability to deploy marketing strategies to secure work.
  • The ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams locally and in other offices within the Olsson footprint to execute effective strategies for project and client-specific marketing efforts with limited direction.
  • The ability to manage and coordinate the development of content and messaging for quality statements-of-qualifications, proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral with internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and maintain project-related data and information.
  • Proven competency in data management software.
  • The ability to develop and foster effective professional relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills.
