About Our Mission
Dorcas International Institute of RI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides wraparound services to help individuals overcome educational, cultural, economic, and language barriers.
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team and play a key role in shaping our financial future.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with a proven track record of success in a nonprofit organization. A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance is required, with a preferred CPA or master's degree.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial operations to maximize return on assets
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop strategic plans
- Oversee social ventures and create opportunities for growth and profitability
Requirements and Benefits
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management
- At least 5 years in a nonprofit organization
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- $140,000 - $160,000 per year salary range
