About Beacon

Beacon is a rapidly growing 3rd party distributor with a product line spanning mutual funds, alternatives, and unique private credit funds. We are seeking a seasoned financial sales professional to expand our coverage in the Dallas / Ft.Worth area.

About the Role

As a Regional Director, you will be responsible for building assets, enhancing firm profitability, and elevating brand value by nurturing strategic investor relationships. You will follow a consultative fundraising model, delivering differentiated private credit, secondaries, and private equity investments within the lower middle-market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with investors, specifically RIAs, wealth managers, and family offices, to secure capital within your designated territory.
  • Educate financial advisors on the benefits of our products and services through presentations, meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Maintain an organized database of current and prospective investor relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with the fundraising team to follow up on leads generated within your territory.
  • Travel 2-3 days per week, or as mutually agreed upon.
  • Contribute to various business and brand-building activities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in client services, fundraising, and/or working as a wholesaler.
  • Background in a reputable asset management firm with multiple investment strategies and products preferred.
  • Profound knowledge of private credit and equity fundamentals.
  • Well-established, trusted relationships with a substantial number of investors, including RIAs, wealth managers, and family offices.
  • Proven track record of cultivating relationships and raising capital in your region.
  • Series 7 and 66 (or 7, 63, and 65) licenses are required.
