We are seeking a seasoned financial sales professional to join our team as a Regional Director, External Wholesaler. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with investors, securing capital, and driving business growth.
About the RoleAs a Regional Director, you will be responsible for:
- Cultivating and nurturing relationships with investors, including RIAs, wealth managers, and family offices.
- Educating financial advisors on the benefits of our client's products and services.
- Developing and executing business plans to achieve fundraising goals.
- Maintaining an organized database of current and prospective investor relationships.
- Collaborating closely with the fundraising team to follow up on leads generated within your territory.
- Traveling 2-3 days per week, or as mutually agreed upon.
- Contributing to various business and brand-building activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 8+ years of experience in client services, fundraising, and/or working as a wholesaler.
- A background in a reputable asset management firm with multiple investment strategies and products.
- Profound knowledge of private credit and equity fundamentals.
- Well-established, trusted relationships with a substantial number of investors, including RIAs, wealth managers, and family offices.
- A proven track record of cultivating relationships and raising capital in your region.
- Series 7 and 66 (or 7, 63, and 65) licenses.
