Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Engineer to enhance our customer service team.

Role Objectives:
The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for delivering maintenance and repair support for CNC machine tools, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of technical processes and service protocols.
2. Generate and analyze reports related to service performance, both ongoing and as needed.
3. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to foster a cooperative working environment.
4. Provide training and support to customer personnel on the latest product lines and technologies.
5. Conduct machine installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exemplary customer service.

Customer Interaction:
Manage challenging customer interactions with professionalism, promptly addressing inquiries and gathering feedback to enhance service quality.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a technical field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in troubleshooting and maintaining CNC machine tools, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with DMG or MORI SEIKI machines, as well as controls from Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Siemens is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to customer service excellence.

Additional Skills:
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Travel Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of 50% travel across various states, with the expectation of working from the Technical Center when not on customer visits.
