Job Summary:

As the Lead Mail Engineer, you will be responsible for directing a dynamic team focused on the administration and optimization of our organization's email systems. Your primary focus will be on strategic planning and execution of email-related projects, ensuring alignment with operational objectives and best practices.

Collaboration and Leadership:

You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the email team's objectives align with broader business goals. Strong leadership skills are essential for mentoring team members, managing performance, and fostering continuous improvement in service delivery.

Resource Management:

While direct technical support is not required, your leadership will be crucial in guiding the team in managing Microsoft Exchange Online, ensuring system reliability, and maintaining security standards. You will also oversee resource planning and budget management for licenses.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in enterprise messaging services, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing technical support teams.
  • Certification in Microsoft O365 or equivalent is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

  • Management certifications such as PMP or ITIL are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure functions including servers, storage, networking, and security is preferred.
