Requirements for Financial Grants Manager:

  • 3-4+ years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of budgeting, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Experience with nonprofit, state, or county grants is essential.
  • Leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, QuickBooks Online, and Concur expense reporting tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
Responsibilities of Financial Grants Manager:
  • Oversee federal grant management.
  • Supervise a team of two.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Manage cash flow and prepare weekly payment requests from federal sources.
  • Prioritize team workload and manage the annual budget.
  • Prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
