Compliance and Grants Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants and Compliance Manager to join our team at the Wounded Warrior Project. As a key member of our Community Partnerships & Investments team, you will play a critical role in implementing our strategic investment and partnership strategy, advancing our mission and vision, and ensuring the highest standards of grant compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Guidance: Provide day-to-day guidance to the CPI Grants Compliance and Reporting staff, leading work teams and generating ideas to solve problems and achieve results.
- Grant Compliance and Reporting: Oversee the reporting and accountability initiatives among grantees, managing internal reporting on grantee progress and return on investment.
- Contract Reviews and Evaluations: Lead reviews, analyses, and evaluations of partner contracts, serving as the organizational lead on grant compliance through social and mission due diligence.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Design, oversee, and execute monitoring processes, including conducting file audits, assessments, documenting results, and analyzing data trends.
- Team Development and Collaboration: Develop and mentor teammates' competencies, provide a supportive working environment, and collaborate with Community Partnerships & Investments teammates to ensure seamless integration of all CPI initiatives.
- Communication and Expertise: Maintain regular, high-touch communication with WWP leadership, vetting teams, and WWP teammates relating to grant compliance and further advancement of CPI's mission, strategy, and goals.
- Grant Management and Database Tracking: Oversee grant management database tracking of historical investments, grant activities, reporting, and deliverables, and manage administrative relationship of grant management software and related technology enhancements.
- Emerging Trends and Opportunities: Track, analyze, and report on emerging and vanguard efforts, trends, and opportunities in the family foundations, corporate philanthropy, and corporate responsibility sectors, applying lessons learned to help achieve maximum impact and presence as a responsible charitable investment leader in the wounded warrior community.
- Experience: Five years of experience with grant-making, strategy consulting, impact investing, financing, program metrics, philanthropic capital, or grants, and five years of leadership experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, accounting, economics, finance, data analytics, community research, or other related field.
- Certifications and Licensure: Valid state-issued driver's license.
- General Office Environment: General office environment; temperature controlled.
- Travel: Up to 15% travel.

For Colorado Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $82,790 - $103,488 base salary, subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
For San Diego, California and Tacoma, Washington Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $90,675 - $113,344 annual base salary, subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
For Washington, D.C. Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $94,617 - $118,272 annual base salary, subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
For New York Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $98,560 - $123,200 annual base salary, subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
