As an Outbound Financial Consultant within our Engagement Center, you will showcase the value of our offerings and reputation. By delivering exceptional financial guidance and a tailored client experience, you will contribute to enhanced client satisfaction, referrals, repeat business, and asset retention.

In this role, you will initiate outbound communications with clients, providing financial planning insights and crafting solutions tailored to their unique needs. You will guide clients through financial planning concepts and digital self-service tools, focusing on building our brand and nurturing client relationships with every interaction. Your efforts will emphasize delivering high value and prioritizing client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage clients through targeted marketing initiatives and outreach efforts, employing a confident and persuasive communication style to foster meaningful conversations, reinforce our values, enhance client retention, and attract new business.
  • Facilitate in-depth discussions with clients to uncover their needs and aspirations, initiating goal-oriented financial conversations and presenting suitable financial solutions to help them achieve their objectives.
  • Strengthen client relationships by serving as a knowledgeable resource for information and advice, ensuring accurate and efficient interactions.
  • Educate clients on financial strategies, investment options, debt management, and retirement planning.
  • Demonstrate high emotional intelligence, cultivating an environment of trust and reliability with clients.
  • Thrive in a structured work environment, maintaining consistency and organization.
  • Effectively manage time and prospects, striving to enhance client contact rates and ensure the success of our outreach campaigns.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • Possession of the Series 65 or Series 66 securities license, or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Prior experience in a consultative sales role, preferably in an outbound call center environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Results-driven, with a passion for engaging clients over the phone to identify their financial needs and provide guidance on their financial goals.
Edelman Financial Engines adopts a market-driven approach to compensation. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000, with final compensation determined based on various factors, including responsibilities, skills, experience, geographic location, and market conditions. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, such as discretionary bonuses, health and wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
