Medical Laboratory Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our healthcare team at KA Recruiting Inc. as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician in Southern Massachusetts.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. This will involve rotating through various laboratory sections, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and microbiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests according to established protocols and procedures.
- Analyze samples and interpret results to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning to prevent downtime and ensure quality results.
- Adhere to safety and quality control procedures to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- ASCP certification or equivalent.
- Strong laboratory skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical laboratory experience, with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and software.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
