Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care according to recognized nursing techniques and standards in conjunction with provider orders.
  • Participate in a team-oriented approach to care for patients, communicating effectively and professionally.
  • Educate patients and families on health-related topics, clearly and concisely.
  • Manage time effectively and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our patients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of Emergency Department experience and triage experience required.
  • Current RN licensure by the State of Vermont.
  • ACLS certification.
  • ENPC, TNCC, and CEN certifications preferred.
