Route Sales Specialist

About the Role:
The Route Sales Specialist is a critical position within Bimbo Bakeries USA, responsible for delivering fresh products to existing customers, setting up new accounts, and merchandising. This role requires a strong focus on customer development, ordering, merchandising, and display opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver fresh products to existing customers on open routes until new Route Sales Professionals are trained.
- Assist with rack resets and partner with Route Sales Professionals to create alignment in account chains.
- Communicate with customers to understand promotional activity and customer delivery expectations.
- Ensure product distribution is accomplished to customer satisfaction in agreement with contract terms and requirements.
- Assist customer relations, including selling new products and space/position gains.
- Provide a high level of customer service and solve customer issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to obtain and retain a DOT medical card.
- Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods, as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers.
- 1-3 years of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) is preferred.
- Currently have or be able to obtain a chauffeur's license.
