Role Impact:
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will leverage your curiosity and work alongside some of the most inventive and diverse professionals worldwide. Your contributions will include:
- Collaborating closely with the Global Account Manager and team to implement Sales Business Plans and Strategies aimed at maximizing revenue, enhancing market presence, and establishing 3M as a key supplier for assigned customers.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships across all levels of the customer’s organization.
- Identifying and providing solutions to customer challenges, managing and closing projects, and developing a sustainable pipeline using a CRM system.
- Partnering with Business Portfolio Managers to conduct competitive analysis, gather market intelligence, and negotiate pricing.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Automotive Sales within a private, public, government, or military context.
- A valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications that may enhance your success in this role include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Five (5) years of sales or program management experience with Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs in the Automotive sector.
- Exceptional presentation, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A proven track record of securing designs and supporting multinational clients.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Salesforce and other sales support software.
Work Environment:
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for some remote work while requiring travel to designated locations as needed.
