Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Project Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in HVAC, piping, and electrical systems to provide valuable consultation and solutions to our clients. Your focus will be on identifying repair and retrofit opportunities, emphasizing both financial and energy-efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Estimate, engineer, and sell mechanical projects related to retrofit, repair, and replacement.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients while collaborating effectively with management and the sales team.
  • Utilize your knowledge to develop HVAC system solutions tailored to customer needs, incorporating financial and performance considerations.
  • Employ proactive outreach strategies to connect with potential clients and schedule appointments.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and effective time management to prioritize tasks and identify key customer accounts for growth.
  • Continuously assess customer needs and market opportunities, coordinating with the sales team as necessary.
  • Convert leads into actionable opportunities by determining the best sales strategies and leading the sales process.
  • Build and maintain multiple relationships within client organizations, including facility managers and project stakeholders.
  • Achieve a satisfactory rate of new sales while performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in engineering, engineering technology, business management, or a related field, along with three to five years of experience in facilities or HVAC services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Key qualifications include:

  • Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and piping design, estimating, and sales.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mathematical and financial acumen.
  • A passion for business development and networking within the industry.
  • A keen interest in modern technologies.
