USPF Customer Service Representative

Job Summary
Ameris Bank is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused USPF Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Insurance Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to insurance agents and brokers, as well as insureds, through phone and email communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively and professionally with insurance agents and brokers, as well as insureds, to resolve questions and concerns.
- Work to achieve targets regarding call volume, quality, and other performance metrics.
- Enter payments from agents and insureds, and assist with opening, sorting, and delivering mail.
- Scan documents to the imaging system as necessary, and communicate with insurance companies regarding transaction status.
- Follow up with insurance companies, general agencies, agents, and insureds regarding outdated address, phone, fax, or email information.
- Refer unresolved customer grievances to team lead and/or designated departments for further investigation.
- Update policy number information and track assigned risk workers comp carriers.
- Keep records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken in FinancePro.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to effectively interpret data and analyze problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to comprehend policies, procedures, documents, and guidelines.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred.
- 1+ years customer service experience.
- High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
