Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused USPF Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Ameris Bank. As a key member of our Insurance Services team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective support to Insurance Agents and Brokers, as well as Insureds, through phone and email communication.
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Meet and exceed performance targets for call volume, quality, and other key metrics.
- Assist with opening, sorting, and delivering mail, as well as scanning documents to the imaging system as needed.
- Communicate with insurance companies, general agencies, agents, and insureds regarding transaction status and potential issues.
- Follow up with customers to prevent policy cancellations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Update policy information and track assigned risk workers' comp carriers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and actions taken in FinancePro.
Requirements
- 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to effectively interpret data and analyze problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people of all skill levels and diverse backgrounds.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred.
