Job Summary:

As a key member of the HR Technology Contracts team at Marriott International, the Manager, HR Contracts will report to the Director, HR Contracts and Governance. This role involves managing a portfolio of 25-35 contracts, varying in complexity, and is responsible for overall HR contracting efforts, including drafting contracts using existing templates, negotiating business terms and conditions, and performing contract coordination and administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting contracts using existing templates and negotiating business terms and conditions to Marriott standards.
  • Managing a portfolio of 25-35 contracts, varying in complexity, and performing contract coordination and administration.
  • Assisting in managing Vendor relationships after contract execution, including monitoring adherence to service levels and resolving disputes.
  • Performing contract filing, routing, and administration, including updating contract spreadsheets and entering information into a contracts management database.
  • Supporting the contract management technology and related processes used by the HR department.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of direct, client-facing experience in the management and administration of technology, non-technology, and services contracts.
  • 5 years of experience with technology and non-technology contract negotiations, preferably in the corporate/commercial sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in interpreting basic contract provisions, evaluating risk, and handling basic financial/accounting issues.
  • Technical background or prior experience negotiating technology contracts.
  • Experience with large-scale outsourcing arrangements.
