Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management
    • Manage the full life cycle of federal government contracts, from preaward through closeout.
    • Review and interpret contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance.
    • Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Negotiation and Modification
    • Assist in contract negotiations and modifications as needed.
    • Work closely with contractors to address changes in scope, pricing, and other contract terms.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence
    • Ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other relevant federal regulations.
    • Stay informed about changes in federal contracting policies and guidelines.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify and mitigate contract-related risks.
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address contractual issues.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Communication
    • Communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
    • Address inquiries, provide clarification on contract terms, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of contract-related activities.
    • Generate reports on contract status, performance, and compliance.
  • Contract Closeout
    • Manage the contract closeout process, ensuring all requirements are met.
    • Coordinate with finance and other departments to facilitate a smooth closeout process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Contract Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in federal government contracting and contract management.
  • Indepth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal contracting processes.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
