DCS Corp presents an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Cost Analyst to provide vital support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB). The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB) is tasked with the comprehensive management and execution of modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment for the PEO Digital portfolio, encompassing over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and allied nations. The AFLCMC/PEO Digital Directorate operates from a central location with various units across different regions.

This is a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Cost Analyst, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilizing standard cost estimation techniques such as analogy, engineering methodologies, and extrapolation.
  • Generating cost estimation outputs to evaluate the influence of various factors on the costs associated with the design, research, development, operation, maintenance, and disposal of specific weapon systems.
  • Assessing all cost-related elements for projects of limited scope.
  • Evaluating contractor financial data through Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics to ascertain program viability concerning cost and schedule performance.
  • Engaging in analytical processes including problem identification, conducting background research, data collection and reduction, data visualization for analysis, mathematical formulation, and conclusion drawing.
  • Providing contract pricing support across all phases of the acquisition cycle, including development, award, management, measurement, and contract closeout.
  • Drafting pricing briefings, correspondence, and agency pricing reports.
  • Creating pricing-related evaluation criteria and tracking pre-award task order milestones and statuses.
  • Assisting source selection teams in evaluating cost proposals.
  • Preparing pricing documentation for government review and approval.
  • Developing pricing spreadsheets for technical proposals and conducting additional pricing analyses to support evaluations.
  • Facilitating pricing discussions and communications with offerors.
  • Supporting the construction of agency pricing reports and drafting other pricing documents in response to claims or protests.
  • Accessing, populating, and analyzing data within organizational pricing databases.
  • Understanding the most suitable phase of the budgetary cycle (planning, programming, justification, and execution) for initiating new programs.
  • Demonstrating experience in quantitative analysis and calculus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
Required Qualifications:

Due to the sensitive nature of customer requirements, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

A High School Diploma with 15 years of directly related experience, including 8 years in the DoD, or a Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience, including 5 years in the DoD.

An adjudicated DoD Secret Security clearance is required on the first day of employment.

Familiarity with the appropriate phases of the budgetary cycle for initiating new programs is essential.

Experience in quantitative analysis and calculus is necessary.
