This role supports the Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB), which is tasked with overseeing the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and maintenance of a diverse portfolio that encompasses over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and allied nations. The AFLCMC/PEO Digital Directorate operates from various locations, ensuring comprehensive support both domestically and internationally.

This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilizing standard cost estimation techniques such as analogy, engineering methodologies, and extrapolation.
  • Generating cost estimates to evaluate the impact of various factors on the expenses associated with the design, research, development, operation, maintenance, and disposal of specific weapon systems.
  • Conducting cost analysis for projects of limited scope.
  • Examining contractor financial data through Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics to assess program feasibility regarding cost and schedule performance.
  • Implementing analytical processes, including problem setup, background research, data collection and reduction, data visualization, mathematical formulation, and conclusion drawing.
  • Offering contract pricing support throughout all phases of the acquisition lifecycle, including development, award, management, measurement, and contract closure.
  • Drafting pricing briefings, correspondence, and agency pricing reports.
  • Creating pricing-related evaluation criteria and monitoring pre-award task order milestones.
  • Assisting source selection teams in evaluating cost proposals.
  • Preparing pricing documentation for Government review and approval.
  • Compiling pricing spreadsheets for technical proposals and conducting additional pricing analyses to facilitate price/cost evaluations.
  • Providing pricing support for discussions with offerors.
  • Contributing to the construction of agency pricing reports and drafting related documents in response to claims against the agency.
  • Accessing and analyzing data in organizational pricing databases.
  • Understanding the appropriate phases of the budgetary cycle (planning, programming, justification, and execution) for initiating new programs.
  • Demonstrating experience in quantitative analysis and calculus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
Required Qualifications:

Due to the sensitive nature of customer requirements, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

A High School Diploma with 15 years of directly related experience, including 8 years in the DoD, or a Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience, including 5 years in the DoD.

An adjudicated DoD Secret Security clearance is required on the first day of employment.

Familiarity with the appropriate phases of the budgetary cycle for initiating new programs is essential.

Experience in quantitative analysis and calculus is required.
