The Senior IT Laboratory Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our laboratory technologies, including Quality Control (QC) and Research & Development (R&D) Lab Infrastructure, as well as compliance and validation of Lab IT systems. This position collaborates closely with IT Technology Owners, IT Infrastructure, and laboratory teams to support daily operations and facilitate the introduction of new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations of laboratory technologies.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of laboratory IT systems, including LIMS and CDS.
- Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IT system administration and upkeep.
- Develop and sustain data analytics and dashboard technologies.
- Collect, clarify, and document user business requirements.
- Convert user needs into functional specifications.
- Experience with laboratory systems such as LabVantage and Empower is advantageous.
- Engage with Technology System Owners and Project Managers regarding project timelines and deliverables.
- Familiarity with GxP validated environments and validation requirements is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience in QC Lab Systems, Computer Systems Validation, and Product Life Cycle Management.
- Knowledge of Computer Systems Validation and Software Life Cycle Management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities across various functional areas.
- Experience in the life sciences or similar industries is crucial.
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required based on business needs.
