DCS Corp presents an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Cost Analyst to provide essential support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate. This role is integral to the management and execution of modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of a diverse portfolio, which encompasses numerous programs for the United States Air Force and allied nations.

This position is full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilizing standard cost estimating techniques such as analogy, engineering methodologies, and extrapolation.
  • Assessing cost estimating outputs to evaluate the influence of various factors on the expenses associated with designing, researching, developing, operating, maintaining, and disposing of specific weapon systems.
  • Conducting analyses of all cost elements for projects of limited scope.
  • Evaluating contractor financial data through Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics to ascertain program viability concerning cost and schedule performance.
  • Implementing analytical processes, including problem setup, background research, data collection and reduction, data display for analysis, formulation of mathematical expressions, and conclusion drawing.
  • Delivering contract pricing support throughout all phases of the acquisition cycle, including development, award, management, measurement, and contract closeout.
  • Preparing draft pricing presentations, correspondence, and agency pricing reports.
  • Developing pricing-related evaluation criteria and tracking pre-award task order milestones.
  • Assisting source selection teams in evaluating cost proposals.
  • Creating pricing documentation for review and approval.
  • Compiling pricing spreadsheets of technical proposals and conducting pricing analyses to support evaluations.
  • Providing pricing support for discussions with offerors.
  • Constructing agency pricing reports and drafting other pricing documents in response to claims.
  • Accessing and analyzing information in organizational pricing databases.
  • Understanding the most relevant phase of the budgetary cycle for initiating new programs.
  • Demonstrating experience in quantitative analysis and calculus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.

Required Qualifications:

Due to the sensitive nature of customer requirements, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

A High School Diploma with 15 years of directly related experience, including 8 years in the Department of Defense (DoD), or a Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience, including 5 years in the DoD.

An adjudicated DoD Secret Security clearance is required on the first day of employment.

Proficiency in understanding the appropriate phases of the budgetary cycle for initiating new programs.

Experience in quantitative analysis and calculus is essential.
