Key Responsibilities
  • Economic Modeling and Analysis: Develop and apply economic models and analyses to understand the economic impact of investments, risk mitigation strategies, and other government actions.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to advise and recommend economic metrics, tools, and policies that result in sustainable solutions.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop strategic external partnerships to further the scope and depth of applied research and research outcomes.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze financial, political, and socioeconomic data to inform economic modeling and analysis.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research in various fields, including politics, healthcare, education, energy, and others, to inform economic modeling and analysis.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Data Analytics, or Quantitative Sciences.
  • Experience: 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical writing and oral presentation skills, with the ability to think critically and be proactive in pursuing research and problem-solving with minimal supervision.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree: Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Extensive Experience: Extensive experience and expertise in the application of economic research in a business setting.
  • Publications: Recent publications in the field of economics or related discipline.
  • Professional Network: Strong credentials, recognition, and partnerships in the design and evaluation of policies and strategies to deliver solutions at scale.
