Overview
As a vital member of the Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits family, the Account Executive plays a crucial role in representing our esteemed organization in the marketplace. This position is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic, innovative, and driven, possessing a strong business acumen and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities
The primary duties of the Account Executive include:

  • Establishing and nurturing positive, trustworthy relationships with customers.
  • Identifying and understanding the growth needs of customer businesses.
  • Creating tailored business growth strategies for each account and developing a robust pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Utilizing data analytics to enhance sales performance and support customer business growth.
  • Planning account visits meticulously, ensuring all interactions are purposeful and documented.
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of SGWS products and effectively presenting them to clients.
  • Proposing customized solutions to meet customer needs and successfully closing sales.
  • Managing customer inquiries and resolving issues while seeking additional opportunities for support.
  • Adapting sales techniques to align with the unique buying preferences of each customer.
  • Keeping abreast of competitive offerings and positioning SGWS products advantageously.
  • Documenting detailed account information in the CRM system.
  • Participating in sales meetings, training sessions, and supplier events as required.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to analyze data and leverage technology effectively.
  • Proficient in creating customer presentations and product proposals.
  • Comfortable using mobile devices and online communication tools professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results consistently.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptability to change and openness to innovative ideas.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Possession of a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Physical Demands
This role may involve considerable physical activity, including but not limited to:

  • Sitting and typing for extended periods.
  • Walking, bending, reaching, and standing.
  • Driving for significant portions of the day.
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 56 lbs.
