Job Description

As a Senior Technical Project Manager at Resource Data, you will play a key role in delivering custom software solutions that drive enterprise systems efficiency, performance, and value. You will work closely with our team of technical consultants to provide solutions to our clients' most complex enterprise IT challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project charters, budgets, plans, and overall scope for client-facing IT projects
  • Liaise between client and internal project teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of defined scopes and budget
  • Work with the project team to document standards, project deliverables, and requirements
  • Collect information through subject matter interviews, business documents, project notes, and other contextual information
  • Document technical and business processes/workflows in narrative and diagrammatic forms following industry standards and guidelines
  • Lead and direct teams of software developers, business analysts, testers, and architects to deliver on client projects
  • Mitigate risks and proactively identify and resolve project issues

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience leading software development projects on Agile teams
  • 3+ years of experience with technical writing for audiences such as Software Engineers, System Administrators, or other IT and business professionals
  • Proven ability to manage projects with $100k+ budgets
  • Proficiency with project management planning and reporting tools
  • Experience writing user stories and gathering technical requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with clients in a consulting role
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Experience consulting with state and federal agencies a plus
