Key Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Front Office Receptionist - Patient Services Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Welcoming and greeting patients upon their arrival, ensuring a positive first impression of our facility.
  2. Managing patient registration by collecting necessary information and ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.
  3. Coordinating appointments for new patients, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
  4. Addressing patient inquiries and concerns, providing essential information about our services and procedures.
  5. Maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  6. Overseeing patient records, ensuring they are precise and current.
  7. Collaborating with medical personnel to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
  8. Handling incoming communications, including calls, emails, and faxes, with promptness and professionalism.
  9. Providing general administrative support to the office, including ordering supplies and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Front Office Receptionist - Patient Services Coordinator position will have:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or patient coordination role within the healthcare field.
  2. Proficiency in medical terminology.
  3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  4. Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to multitask and manage time effectively.
  5. Proficiency in medical software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in patient records and documentation.
