As a Permanent Patient Services Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:


  • Welcoming and assisting patients upon their arrival, ensuring a positive first impression of our healthcare facility.
  • Managing patient registration by gathering necessary information and ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.
  • Coordinating appointments for new patients, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
  • Addressing patient inquiries and concerns, providing essential information about our services and procedures.
  • Upholding patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintaining patient records, ensuring they are precise and current.
  • Collaborating with medical personnel to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
  • Handling incoming communications, including calls, emails, and faxes, responding promptly and professionally.
  • Providing general administrative support to the office, such as ordering supplies and ensuring the reception area is clean and organized.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Patient Services Coordinator position will have the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or patient coordination role within the healthcare sector.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in medical software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in patient records and documentation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing high volumes of patients and administrative tasks.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction at all times.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field is a plus.
