Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for all resident inquiries and phone calls, excluding emergencies, which includes assisting residents with outgoing calls, providing information about activities, and connecting them with relevant department managers.
- Facilitate services for residents and their families, such as coordinating dry cleaning, grocery deliveries, dinner reservations, beauty services, and transportation, while ensuring follow-up to confirm satisfaction.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by meeting with new residents and their families within 48 hours of arrival to explain available services and promptly addressing any concerns.
- Provide information about local amenities, attractions, and services.
- Ensure the lobby and common areas are consistently clean and inviting, including managing background music and arranging fresh floral displays.
- Oversee the community's transportation schedule, coordinating outings and medical appointments while ensuring timely departures.
- Serve as a liaison between residents and the dining room, managing meal reservations and maintaining RSVP lists for events.
- May supervise front desk staff and drivers, maintaining familiarity with related positions to provide coverage as necessary.
- May operate a company vehicle for community-related outings, if required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification as required.
- Successful completion of all required training programs.
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence; capable of writing basic correspondence.
- Competence in basic arithmetic operations.
- Able to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions and address problems with a few concrete variables.
- Flexible to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
- Proficient in operating standard office equipment.
