Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for all resident inquiries and requests, excluding emergencies, which includes assisting residents with outgoing calls, providing information about activities, and connecting them with department managers.
  • Facilitate services for residents and their families, such as coordinating dry cleaning, grocery deliveries, dinner reservations, and transportation, while ensuring follow-up to confirm satisfaction.
  • Uphold exceptional customer service standards by meeting with new residents and their families within 48 hours of arrival to explain available services and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Provide information about local amenities, attractions, and services.
  • Ensure that the lobby and common areas are consistently clean and inviting, including managing background music and maintaining fresh floral arrangements.
  • Oversee the community's transportation schedule, coordinating medical appointments and ensuring timely departures for outings.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents and the dining room, managing meal reservations and maintaining RSVP lists for events.
  • May supervise front desk staff and drivers, ensuring coverage as needed.
  • May operate a company vehicle for community-related transportation when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three years of relevant experience or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification as required.
  • Completion of all Atria-specific training programs is mandatory.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence; capable of writing basic correspondence.
  • Competence in basic arithmetic operations.
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions and address problems with a few concrete variables.
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and shifts as necessary.
  • Proficient in operating telephones, emergency call systems, and other office equipment.
