Job OverviewPosition Summary

This role is essential for delivering precise and comprehensive information to clients. Responsibilities include addressing inquiries, resolving client concerns, and ensuring that well-documented information is relayed to the appropriate personnel for further action. The position also entails managing intake processes and acting as a liaison with the court system. Duties involve retrieving data from computer systems to provide answers and updating records accordingly. Candidates must be adept at assisting clients in person across various scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcomes visitors and clients to the office, keeping track of appointments and visitor logs.
  • Maintains a tidy and professional reception area, ensuring that relevant handbooks and brochures are accessible.
  • Handles walk-in and phone inquiries, evaluates situations, and delivers accurate information to clients.
  • Interacts with clients in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
  • Seeks assistance from designated Case Specialists or Supervisors as needed, following established protocols.
  • Processes requests for child support service applications by scheduling appointments, distributing application packets, and informing clients of necessary information.
  • Inputs service applications into the automated system and organizes new child support files.
  • Conducts interviews with custodial and non-custodial parents as required.
  • Documents information in both automated and physical case files related to the establishment and enforcement of child support obligations.
  • Prepares correspondence for mailing, ensuring accurate metering and daily delivery of outgoing mail.
  • Opens, dates, and processes incoming mail accurately and within set timeframes.
  • Monitors the fax machine and distributes faxes throughout the day; ensures copiers and fax machines are stocked with paper.
  • Provides administrative and clerical support to case specialists and supervisors as needed.
  • Initiates follow-up calls to clients regarding case status as required.
  • Ensures confidentiality and security of case information.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience Requirements

Experience equivalent to the required education; office experience is preferred.
