Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of People Operations and Total Rewards to join our team at Heritage Christian Services. This is a key leadership role that will oversee the development and implementation of strategic and tactical people-focused programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a team of HR professionals to ensure the development of a culture of excellence and facilitate the growth of the organization.
  2. Design, administer, and evaluate compensation and benefits programs to create a compelling employee proposition that attracts top talent to HCS.
  3. Develop and implement metrics related to employee analytics to drive programs and priorities.
  4. Ensure that compensation and other total rewards initiatives are in alignment with the agency's mission, vision, and values.
  5. Collaborate with leadership to ensure that compensation and benefits strategies are competitive and align with the total rewards philosophy.
  6. Manage relationships and communications with total rewards vendors.
  7. Research and recommend enhancements and changes to total reward offerings.
  8. Optimize HRIS to meet workforce and compliance requirements.
Requirements
  • HR certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar field.
  • 5+ years HR-related experience.
  • 3 or more years of management experience required.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, and experience using HR databases.
  • Broad knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding access, equity, diversity, inclusion, implicit bias, and institutional racism.
