Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Event Beverage Specialist to join our team. This role involves overseeing the setup and preparation of banquet spaces for events, serving as the bartender, and managing the breakdown of banquet areas post-event. You will be responsible for serving beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. Additionally, you will prepare drinks for other servers and handle transactions at the banquet beverage bar.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the bar is properly set up each day, including requisitioning and stocking all necessary supplies based on event projections.
  • Maintain stock and prepare fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to guarantee product quality.
  • Welcome guests warmly, take drink orders, and mix, garnish, and present beverages according to standard recipes while practicing portion control.
  • Process orders through the point of sale system, creating checks for each guest and ensuring accountability for all beverages served.
  • Handle cash transactions, provide change, verify charges, and ensure proper execution of vouchers to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Secure all beverages, food, and equipment, and manage cash drops responsibly.
  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established standards, as consistent attendance is vital for success in this role.
  • Be prepared to work flexible schedules to meet the dynamic needs of the hospitality industry.
