We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Support Specialist to join our team at COCC. As a Student Support Specialist, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to students, staff, and faculty on the Redmond campus.
Key Responsibilities- Provide customer service and support to students, staff, and faculty on the Redmond campus.
- Stream classes from/to the Prineville campus, including setting up equipment and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Perform office duties, such as mail distribution, filing, copying, and supply inventory management.
- Assist with projects and events on campus, including classroom set-ups and ASCOCC events.
- Develop strong working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and provide consistent and dependable customer service.
- Awarded and accepted Federal Work-Study for the current academic year.
- Meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress for financial aid.
- Have taken (or currently enrolled) in one or more classes at the Redmond campus.
The incumbent must be able to function effectively indoors in an office environment engaged in work of primarily a sedentary nature. Requires the ability to work at a workstation for extended periods, write, read written materials and computer screens, and ability to use telephonic conversations. Occasional lifting up to 25lbs.
