Key Responsibilities:
- Foster positive relationships with applicants and residents while ensuring compliance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations and Community Housing policies.
- Oversee building maintenance and office functions, ensuring adherence to efficient inventory management practices.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with applicants and residents throughout the screening and review processes.
- Ensure quality interactions with applicants, residents, vendors, staff, and community agencies.
- Assist in preparing and distributing notices and monthly updates to residents regarding activities and services.
- Facilitate monthly community meetings to promote tenant and landlord relations.
- Support the interviewing and processing of applicants, including interim, annual, and move-in certifications, along with necessary HUD documentation.
- Prepare monthly invoices for payment processing and maintain an organized inventory of office supplies.
- Safeguard confidential resident files and sensitive information.
- Aid in organizing resident and apartment records and planning community events to enhance resident engagement.
- Collect rent payments and ensure accurate processing and banking in line with regulations.
- Manage phone inquiries and direct visitors appropriately.
- Respond to community emergencies as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
Compensation: $18.50 per hour, depending on experience
