Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is a key role at NextGen Retail Solutions, responsible for driving growth and expanding the company's market presence. This position involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition & Supervision: Actively supervise and participate in prospecting efforts to generate leads and expand the customer base.
  • Sales Development Oversight: Develop and implement strategic sales plans under your supervision to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Market Insights Management: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide valuable insights and adapt sales strategies.
  • Relationship Building & Mentorship: Lead efforts to establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
  • Product Knowledge: Foster a deep understanding of our products or services among team members to effectively communicate their value propositions to potential clients.
  • Field Reporting & Review: Regularly review and maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and market feedback.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a cohesive customer experience and alignment with company objectives.
Requirements
  • Prior experience and proven success in field sales or leadership of teams selling our key categories: Office Supplies, Janitorial & Sanitation, Office Furniture, and other key facility programs.
  • Self-starter with high level of initiative, personal accountability, and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must possess and demonstrate superior attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving sales environment.
  • Valid Driver's License.
