Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential members, including Select Employer Groups (SEGs), community organizations, and other strategic partners. This role drives organic growth, identifies and pursues strategic partnerships, and enhances the Credit Union's visibility and brand awareness within target communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing and implementing the annual business development and involvement plan.
  • Drive Business Development efforts by creating interest and engaging key contacts of existing SEGs, community organizations, and strategic partners.
  • Build, develop, and maintain successful SEG, community, and strategic partner relationships.
  • Be a subject matter expert in Credit Union products and services to effectively cross-sell accounts and memberships.
  • Manage and coordinate orientations, on-site visits, and activities for SEGs and sponsor groups.
  • Ensure a consistent message and participate in community and business functions to enhance the overall image of the Credit Union.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and measuring new and unique membership campaigns and initiatives.
  • Partner with Retail, Lending, Insurance, and Wealth Management to assist with local business development efforts.
  • Provide weekly reports and tracking on SEG activities and membership levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of ten years related experience, preferably in a financial institution or large, highly regulated organization.
