About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Intercom. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth for our Sales organization through effective pipeline generation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prioritize strategic target account lists to drive revenue growth
  • Generate new business pipeline for Account Executives through creative and engaging prospecting
  • Follow up and create value for Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to drive conversions
  • Provide exceptional customer experiences for Intercom's prospective customers
  • Stay up-to-date on our product and its value to customers to effectively communicate its benefits
  • Demonstrate the ability to attract new customers and drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and drive efficiency
Requirements
  • Strong desire to build a career in Sales, with a goal of becoming an Account Executive or closing role in the future
  • 2+ years of customer-facing work experience, preferably in Sales and/or SaaS
  • Operational Excellence: ability to use time effectively and efficiently to complete revenue-driving activities
  • Competitive Landscape & Industry Knowledge: understanding of the SaaS landscape and target verticals
  • Prospecting skills: ability to leverage modern sales engagement tools to deliver prospect engagement across multiple channels
  • Communication: ability to articulate thoughts and express ideas effectively through verbal, written, and non-verbal communication
  • Growth Mindset: self-awareness of strengths and weaknesses, and a willingness to seek feedback and improve
  • Results-Oriented: a never-settle approach to quota, progression, and team development
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Familiarity with systems and tools such as SFDC, Outreach, Cognism, Zoominfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
