Job Overview

Restoration 1 of Suffolk County is seeking a dynamic Business Development/Sales Associate to drive business growth through strategic planning, relationship building, and sales initiatives within the restoration industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance agents, property managers, real estate professionals, and other key stakeholders in the restoration industry.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional customer service delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, bids, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to achieve profitable sales outcomes.
  • Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate regular reports to monitor progress against targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings to promote brand awareness and foster business relationships.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance the company's competitive position in the market.
Qualifications
  • No prior sales experience required; the company is willing to provide all necessary training for the right candidate.
  • Willingness to learn residential and commercial property restoration processes, including water damage mitigation, fire damage restoration, and mold remediation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry partners.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving goals.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and comfortable working on tablets and computers.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary plus uncapped commission, with an average earning potential of $70,000-$120,000 annually. Comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401k with company matching, and professional development assistance.
