Job Summary

The Business Development and Marketing Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing key relationships to drive member growth for County Excellence Federal Credit Union. This role will seek opportunities to expand the organization's reach and partner with internal stakeholders on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic business development and marketing plans to expand the Credit Union's membership base through community outreach and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with leadership and functional areas on business strategies that support the Credit Union's mission and vision.
  • Drive business development goals and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow and enhance relationships with communities.
  • Participate in activities centered on prospecting new members and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Focus on generating quality loans and business deposits.
  • Represent the Credit Union at public events and manage social media accounts.
  • Develop and maintain the Credit Union's website and social media presence.
  • Maintain and enhance the Credit Union's newsletter.
  • Cultivate partnerships with community organizations to promote the Credit Union's mission and values.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing relationships through regular communication and engagement.
  • Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop promotional materials and campaigns targeted at the community audience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience, with at least 1 year in outside B2B2C sales experience.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union operations, products, and services is a plus.
