Commercial and Industrial Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Industrial Relationship Manager to join our team at Spencer Savings Bank.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C&I lending, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with accountants, public agencies, attorneys, and Chambers of Commerce to generate new business opportunities.
- Prospect for new business customers through networking, cold-calling, and telemarketing, and successfully develop and manage relationships to retain business over the long-term.
- Make telephone and personal calls and presentations to customers and potential customers to promote our products and services.
- Track and report sales results on a monthly basis to ensure the profitability and credit quality of the portfolio.
- Support branch business development activities and ensure the quality of existing accounts.
- Manage the day-to-day credit process, including credit write-ups, customer inquiries, and deal structures, and gather financial information to prepare loan proposals.
- Monitor market conditions and competitive activities to ensure we maintain a strong market share of our products and services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A college degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of C&I lending experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and sales skills.
- Credit and risk analysis skills.
- Goal-oriented individual with self-motivation and initiative.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Strong customer service skills.
