Job Overview

Core Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber candidates.
  • Manage the complete recruitment process, from job advertisements and candidate evaluations to interviews and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify hiring requirements and facilitate a seamless recruitment experience.

2. Employee Relations:

  • Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and challenges.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through proactive conflict resolution and transparent communication.
  • Conduct stay and exit interviews, leveraging feedback to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

3. HR Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain precise and current employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies.

4. Benefits Administration:

  • Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and additional perks.
  • Educate employees about their benefits options and assist with enrollment and modifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors and brokers to manage benefits offerings and resolve any issues.

5. Payroll & Compensation:

  • Supervise payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Assist in compensation planning, including salary benchmarking and pay structure development.
  • Manage time and attendance systems to ensure accurate tracking of hours worked.

6. Training & Development:

  • Design and implement training programs to foster employee growth and development.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and ongoing training initiatives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.

7. Performance Management:

  • Guide managers through the performance evaluation process, providing tools and support for effective assessments.
  • Assist in creating performance improvement plans (PIPs) and tracking progress.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous feedback and recognition.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, with a comprehensive understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage sensitive information with discretion and uphold confidentiality.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is advantageous.
