Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a part-time Human Resources Assistant to support our HR and administrative functions. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to the human resources and administrative teams with daily operational tasks.
  • Maintain and organize employee records, HR files, and documentation within our HRIS systems.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing necessary materials and assisting during orientation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all HR activities.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and hiring procedures.
  • Help plan and coordinate special events such as employee recognition programs and company gatherings.
  • Generate reports and assist with data analysis related to human resources.
  • Provide clerical support to office staff as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned during employment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $36,000 - $40,000 annually, based on experience, with a yearly longevity bonus.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; coursework in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Experience in human resources or administrative roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Reliable and efficient with a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment screenings.
