We are looking for a **Senior Customer Solutions Manager (CSM)** to engage directly with our clients, ensuring the effective implementation of new AWS Industry Products (AIP) services and solutions within the **Healthcare & Life Sciences** and **Manufacturing** sectors. In this prominent role, the CSM serves as a **trusted advisor**, facilitating collaboration among all AWS teams to achieve transformative results for our clients.

In partnership with our clients, we develop and execute strategies to enhance understanding and expand the utilization of AWS. Key Responsibilities

Customer Solutions Managers (CSMs) are dedicated to accelerating our clients' cloud adoption and maximizing the value derived from their cloud investments. They achieve this by collaborating with customer leaders and their engineering teams to strategize and oversee their cloud journey. CSMs also advocate for their clients within AWS.

  1. You will assume comprehensive responsibility for a variety of projects and initiatives, engaging and influencing other core account groups (Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, and Professional Services), product/engineering teams, and client teams.
  2. You will cultivate a profound understanding of your client's business vision, culture, and processes, promoting AWS services and guiding clients to adopt the appropriate solutions at the right time.
  3. You will apply your experience in delivering large-scale transformations to assist clients in navigating their AWS adoption journey, addressing their challenges with innovative ideas, tools, and mechanisms.
  4. You will act as the client's cloud journey coach, representing their interests within AWS and advocating for their needs to AWS leadership, product, and engineering teams.
  5. You will utilize your communication, program management, technical, operational, and transformational expertise to earn your client's trust, comprehend their strategic objectives, translate them into actionable plans, ensure program governance, and deliver successful, often industry-altering, outcomes using AWS services.
A Day in the Life

Accelerate the Client's Cloud Adoption Journey and Maximize Value: This is accomplished through:

  1. Adoption: Supporting client business objectives and advancing their cloud adoption by defining key milestones, removing obstacles, and implementing processes to expedite workload migrations.
  2. Enablement: Driving changes in the client's People and Operating Model by defining a training strategy to enhance the skills of both technical and non-technical roles across the organization, ensuring effective AWS adoption.
  3. Governance: Establishing governance frameworks to effectively manage both our partnership with the client and their AWS adoption.

Identify & Align on Strategic Opportunities: CSMs collaborate with the Customer Account team to work backwards from the client to pinpoint and pursue strategic cloud opportunities. These opportunities may encompass large-scale migrations, data analytics, digital innovation, high-performance computing, product innovation, and business agility. CSMs support these initiatives through various mechanisms, including TCO analysis and business case evaluations.

Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of leading large-scale technical or engineering programs with a proven track record of thought leadership, business case development, and successful program execution.
  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience, engaging with client executives, technologists, or partners to address business challenges using advanced technologies.
  • Experience leading both technical and non-technical transformation project teams with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification.
  • Experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects.
  • Experience in external customer-facing roles within the healthcare & life sciences sector and/or industrials & manufacturing.
