We are Ad Hock, Visa's internal creative agency. Our Vision
Much like Visa's founder, Dee Hock, transformed payment methods, Ad Hock is redefining the internal creative process by establishing a fully operational advertising agency within the organization.

Our Work
We produce high-visibility content for Visa and our client partners, supporting all levels of the marketing funnel, starting with brand awareness. Approximately 50% of our initiatives focus on Visa's core brand and sponsorships, while the remaining 50% cater to our partners and clients as an external creative agency.

Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in bridging the Ad Hock creative team and our clients, overseeing the daily management of client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing daily client relationship operations while providing strategic insights and proactive communication.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and fostering organic growth within existing accounts.
  • Overseeing the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to ensure alignment with client objectives and budget.
  • Collaborating with operations to manage financial processes, including statements of work, budgets, revenue tracking, and internal reporting.
  • Guiding the strategy, planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of client initiatives to ensure objectives are met.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior account staff as the team grows, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to deadlines.
  • Working with internal teams and external partners across creative, media, production, research, and analytics to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Monitoring and assessing campaign performance and impact, providing regular reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Staying informed on the latest trends, best practices, and innovations within the industry and the client's sector.

Work Environment
This position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week, based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2+ years with a PhD.
  • 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7+ years with an Advanced Degree or 3+ years with a PhD preferred.
  • Experience as an account manager or director in a creative agency or similar environment.
  • Proven success in managing and expanding client relationships, delivering strategic and creative solutions, and overseeing budgets and timelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in an agency setting, working on integrated campaigns across various channels and platforms.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Office, project management software, and analytics platforms.

Additional Information
This position may require travel 5-10% of the time. The role will be performed in an office setting, requiring the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment.
