MNCASA is a statewide coalition driving transformative culture change to address sexual violence through advocacy, prevention, racial justice, and systems change. We envision a world free of sexual violence in which all human beings are treated with dignity and respect and communities are transformed through safety, healing, and partnerships.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization's strategic direction, manage its operations, and advocate for systemic change. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to ending sexual violence, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of racial justice and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve MNCASA's mission and vision, including leading the organization's operations and ensuring the effective delivery of programs and services.
  • Advocacy and Community Engagement: Advocate for policy changes and build relationships with key stakeholders, including community partners, donors, and policymakers.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial management, including budgeting and resource allocation, and diversify funding through philanthropic and earned revenue.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise the Directors Team and coordinate with the Board of Directors to ensure the development and delivery of high-impact programs and services.
  • Representation and Communication: Represent MNCASA to external stakeholders and complete assigned tasks, including championing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization and its initiatives.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience as an Executive Director or in a similar leadership role within a nonprofit.
  • Staff Management: Previous experience with managing, supervising, and cultivating staff.
  • Commitment to Ending Sexual Violence: A strong commitment to ending sexual violence and a deep understanding of racial justice and community engagement.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
  • Financial Management: Previous experience in financial management, fundraising, and community engagement.
  • Driver's License and Transportation: A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
