The Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MNCASA) is dedicated to providing leadership and resources for sexual assault programs and allies. Our mission is to prevent sexual violence while advocating for a comprehensive and socially just response for all victims and survivors.

We engage with sexual assault programs, advocates, prosecutors, and law enforcement to enhance a victim-centered approach to sexual violence and improve the effectiveness of the criminal justice system.

Our proactive prevention initiatives aim to take action before harm occurs, and we collaborate with policymakers and elected officials to promote laws and programs that combat sexual violence.


MNCASA Offers:


Support for Victims and Survivors by assisting partner programs and medical personnel, law enforcement, and legal and social service providers in delivering top-tier victim advocacy and support.

Prevention Initiatives by empowering partner programs and others to create and implement effective community-level primary prevention strategies.

Advocacy for Policy Reforms through public policy education and advocacy efforts.

Compensation & Benefits

A Day in the Life...

As MNCASA's Chief Executive Officer, you will have the opportunity to guide the organization's strategic direction, manage its operations, and advocate for systemic change.

This role requires close collaboration with the Board of Directors, staff, members, and community partners to foster a cooperative environment and ensure the effective delivery of programs and services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic planning and implementation to fulfill MNCASA's mission and vision.
  • Advocate for policy changes and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Diversify funding sources, focusing on philanthropic and earned revenue.
  • Engage and collaborate with community partners, donors, and policymakers.
  • Ensure the development and delivery of impactful programs and services.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization and its initiatives.
  • Supervise the Directors Team and coordinate with the Board of Directors.
  • Represent MNCASA to external stakeholders and fulfill assigned tasks.
Who You Are

You have prior experience as a Chief Executive Officer or in a similar leadership position within a nonprofit organization.

You possess experience in managing, supervising, and nurturing staff.

You demonstrate a strong commitment to eradicating sexual violence.

You are highly skilled in strategic planning and organizational leadership.

You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.

You possess experience in financial management, fundraising, and community engagement.

You have a profound understanding of racial justice and experience working with diverse communities.

You hold a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
