The Opportunity

As an Account Executive at OpenText, you'll help customers leverage information to drive growth and efficiency in a rapidly changing digital landscape. You'll be part of a global team of skilled professionals who understand the challenges of customers navigating unprecedented change.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Consultative selling and intense listening to customers
  • Preparing comprehensive territory plans
  • Identifying and converting opportunities into sales
  • Skillfully executing each phase of the sales process from pipeline generation to closing the deal
  • Masterful client presentations and running effective meetings
  • Clearly articulating the value proposition of solutions and products and the endless possibilities of the digital enterprise to customers
  • Collaboration across all internal teams and resources to ensure the best solution for clients
What We're Looking For
  • A track record of at least five years of B2B selling across the Enterprise
  • Experience working in a consultative capacity with C-level customers on complex cloud-based, on-premises, or hybrid solutions
  • Expert knowledge of the B2B buying process and familiarity with key competitors and industry trends
  • Deployment of advanced sales methodologies and tools to achieve and exceed targets
  • Intellectual curiosity, ability to grasp new products and solutions, and a spirit of innovation
  • Completed post-secondary education and a passion for continuous learning
