About the Role

As a Senior Account Executive for Cybersecurity Solutions at OpenText, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the cybersecurity market. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in cybersecurity sales and build strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to target assigned accounts and drive revenue growth in the cybersecurity product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Solution Engineers, Product Leaders, and Channel Organization, to provide specialist expertise and drive sales initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your knowledge of the cybersecurity market and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and developing tailored sales plans to address their requirements.
  • Manage the sales process from solution identification to delivery, ensuring successful product placements and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge and inform sales strategies.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of successful software sales experience in the cybersecurity space, with a proven track record of over-achieving sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise organizational structures, business processes, and financial systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically, with a focus on driving sales growth and revenue expansion.
  • University or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
